2D Shapes in Archimatix are used to generate 3D meshes by feeding them into Mesher nodes. Archimatix has four Mesher nodes: Polygon, Extrude, Lathe and PlanSweep. With these four simple Meshers, we can you can make incredibly complex and beautiful 3D forms.

The meshes output by Meshers are standard Unity meshes with

UV Mapping

UVs are generated automatically when the meshes or created by the Meshers. The geometric logic  of each mesher makes it possible to create UV geometries that are laborious to specify in other modeling applications.



In the future, a 2D atlas view for the unwrapped UVs will be made available. This will allow more precise positioning of UV areas over textures.
